Pictures and captions like this, 🙏 text messages from my circle of a family before meetings, brainstorming sessions amid open wifi hotspots, broken bread from where none existed, and shared resources where the fractions are few are the reasons why dreams are becoming a reality.
• As my sister here eloquently stated, the majority of our journies “are not televised”, but it doesn’t make the struggles any less real. I have a GREAT though small circle that I do not see nor speak to often, but inspire and encourage me daily. •
TO ALL READING THIS, STAY ENCOURAGED. THE WINDING ROADS ARE NARROW IN PATH TO OUR GOALS BUT WE ARE DOING IT!
Repost from @sophiadomeville, There is no feeling like going after your dreams and accomplishing goals at one point you thought were unreachable.
I want to take the time and congratulate my fellow unicorn, kindred spirit, sister, confidant, creativeprenuer and honestly best friend @phnx_aficionado for going after her dream @ifashionpanel and making it happen.
Many of times people see the collaged images, twitter feeds and Facebook posts thinking everything is amazing on all accounts.
Just a glimpse of the positive aspects.
In reality, it’s ALOT of sacrifices, missed family occasions, getaways with close friends, misconception from folks who “think” they know you, lack of food, sleep deprivation, sickness, disappointments, in my past experience lost of a home but as a DreamCatcher we still push on.
Lisa I am so FREAKING proud of you for continuously creating the possibility of having it all and turning your dream into a reality!
The work never stops but let’s enjoy the present together!
I love you!
Tonight we will celebrate over a popped bottle of fiji and maybe a veggie patti! (Inside joke but I’m serious)
